re:Craft and Relic is a Midwest Market series held in various locations in Southeastern Wisconsin throughout the year.
Established in 2015, the traditional re:Craft and Relic is a juried event that takes place at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex (Franklin, WI) three times a year. This two-day , indoor shopping event averages 150-170 vendors per show. Attendance is between 3,000-5,000 paid customers per event with the Holiday Market being the biggest attendance. This curated market is the largest of its kind in the region, featuring artists, designers, and curators selling only the best in vintage, handmade, and pop up boutiques.
The Mini Market debuted in 2023 , featuring 40 handmade artists in a more intimate venue. In 2024, The Mini Market will be held at the Brookfield Conference Center and feature 55 handmade artists.
Make Art MKE at Mount Mary University was added to the re:Craft and Relic calendar in 2023, organized by Mike Bate/Lit MKE , with artists coordinated by re:Craft and Relic. This event is a revitalization of the starving artist show held at Mount Mary for 50+ years.
Night Market at The Franksville Craft Beer Garden was brand new in 2024, featuring 75+ local artists and small businesses, in addition to the great selection of drinks, food trucks and live music that guests of the Franksville Craft Beer Garden have come to expect.
Fall at the Fairgrounds is a new addition in 2025 and will be held at the Racine County Fairgrounds.
I’m passionate about seeing small businesses thrive and giving them a platform to help them do so.
The dream of many artists and shop owners is to have a brick-and-mortar location or to simply be able to live off the hard work that goes into the pieces they curate and create. Shopping events like re:Craft and Relic get to play a part in making that dream come true.
I’m excited to connect these businesses to the community around them and my goal is to create an atmosphere in which the community is excited to keep coming back to see what new treasures these creatives have to offer.
